Launched in 2008 by Scott and Sheldon Gau and Adam Fox of The Gulf Gate Project, Toast & Jam Recordings specializes in bringing you the best Breakbeat music from around the globe. Toast & Jam Recordings exploded onto the Breaks scene with the Electric Soulside remix of The Gulf Gate Project - Beezy back in 2011. Beezy went to #1 on Beatport's Breaks Top 100 chart and held that #1 spot for an eye-popping 6 weeks, putting the track in Beatport's Top 10 Breaks tracks of 2011. In 2015, The Gulf Gate Project topped the breaks charts again with their smash hit Spanish Montana. Most recently, breakbeat heavyweight Kid Panel teamed up with Toast & Jam in 2019 to release My Bassline and brought the label it's third #1 track to date. Other artists on the Toast & Jam roster include Colombo, Chevy One, Mafia Kiss, Deibeat, Detach, Sharaz, Refracture, Retroid, Kuplay, Shade K, Under This, Quadrat Beat, Access Denied, Optobot, Freq Boutique, Alt-A, Dynomyt, and many more. Keep your eye on our Soundcloud page for the latest releases, and be sure to check out all of our releases on Bandcamp, Beatport, and wherever fine breaks are sold. Thanks for stopping by!

Back in the studio after a 10 year hiatus, we are welcoming legendary producers Slyde to the Toast & Jam fam. With vocals from Lady Posh, Slyde delivers a tasty slice of breakbeat funk with their new track Slyde On. A bouncing sine wave bass line and dazzling synth work set the table for this funky feast as Lady Posh's smoking-hot vocals put the cherry on top of what is sure to be one of the defining club anthems of 2024 and beyond.

We've got another outstanding remix package for you here as The Incredible Melting Man's Go Ahead gets the business. Seth Vogt kicks us off with some silky smooth textures and soundscapes. A twinkling piano and deeply evocative rolling pads and synth bass give this remix its unique progressive breaks vibe. Next we have Pharmonic & Jesse KP giving a gnarly electro reworking to the original. Wobbling bass takes center stage as this duo slices and dices the original synth and vocal elements as they cut back and forth between chunky breakbeat drum sections and 1/2 time trap sections. Two stylistically unique offerings for you to choose from here.

Amritone delivers another deep breaks roller with his track No More White Noises. A thundering bass line and apocalyptic laser synths set the stage for this dark rhythmic piece. No More White Noises chugs along with a relentless driving groove as stuttered and chopped vocals and heavy reverbed effects add the finishing touches to this audio journey.

Veteran DJ/producer Mr No Hands has crafted some excellent new breaks tunes and we are happy to present you with the first two right here. Funky Hip Pop Jam Thing comes at you with a scruffy bass line, a handful of chopped and edited vocal samples, and some booming kicks and snares for a bouncy breakbeat experience. The second track on the EP WTF brings that same bouncy energy and features a bass line/synth stack for the main melodic component. Toss in a healthy dose of tambourine and percussive elements and you've got a dance floor friendly weapon ready to unleash.
