The release has provoked quite a strong reaction from many a tastemaker, and none more prominent than natures most respected reporter, David Attenburger, who had this to say about it: Yes, hello, and welcome to another Nature Watch with me, David Attenburger.
With global warming reaching an all time peak, we turn our attention to the north-pole where, if you go to www.youtube.com/mrnohandsmusicwe can observe the impact this has had on our Polar friends.
Extraordinarily enough, we see that the bears have secured what looks like an abandoned igloo, no doubt left behind by the nomadic Eskimos whom travel to escape the harshest of winters. The extra warmth provided by the shelter, may be essential in keeping numbers up due the ever worsening conditions.
Inside, it seems the igloo is regarded more as a communal area, a public house, whereby, the otherwise hostile bears huddle together for the additional luxury of some much needed warmth, though the mountain sheep seems unwelcome. Such is the social mood that they appear to rely on one-another for food and supplies, an absolute phenomena, unknown in this animal kingdom, thus far.
When closely observed, it is clear that the creatures stay within groups, much like the social structures that we are used to. But, hostility arises when two of the bears compete for a mate, and enter a bidding war on the dance floor. As the two furiously try to out maneuver the other, the on looking bears seem unimpressed with their efforts, and as things heat up, the ice-built haven starts to melt.
Fascinatingly, such manors appear to not be tolerated, even within the Polar Regions. Undeterred by the collapsing walls, the fighting bears stay locked in battle only to be ejected from the party by the chief of the pack, or the landlord, if you will.
