Some people are serious, others silly, but some people take being silly very seriously. Rising like the
phoenix from the centre of culture that is Peterborough, Darftphunk (Steve to his mum) has been secretly
conducting all many of strange experiments in the studio of Darftphunk and we are very pleased to be able
to show the people of the world just what those experiments are…..Its Breakin Even release number 10.
Darftphunk makes his debut on Breakin Even with the double headed "Coleys Pleasure" (named after a
cheap fish) and the quirky bopptastic "Back Bone Slide" (named after the vocal in the track funnily enough)
and c o written by the fingerlickin kings the Drummatic Twins. ‘Coleys Pleasure’ is like an old skool train
bombing down the track on a cool summers day with a very nice vocal indeedy, ‘Back Bone Slide’ is a touch
slower but just as cool, funk breaks at its best!! Steve Jeffery (Mr Darft himself) has been making some noise
on the breakbeat circuit for over 2 years now. His debut single Right There/Light It Up released on Splank!
recieved massive support. It featured on the award winning Plump DJ's mix on Radio 1 and was licenced to
Deeklines "Brisbane to Brixton" mix compilation. So play this record or he will steal your shoes........
OUT NOW!!!!!!!!!!

About time Coley's Pleasure got a release! Bound to get smiles all over the dance floor. Hadn't heard Back Bone Slide before, but is also
a tight groover of a tune. Good uplifting funky tunage here, will be supporting these.
